Since 2014, our Warfarin Clinic has made significant impacts on the lives of patients who take Warfarin. Our clinic is ran on Tuesdays and Thursdays from our consultation room at Pharmacy First Plus in Douglas Village Shopping Centre. All tests are appointment based so there is no waiting and parking in the shopping centre is completely free.
Our clinics are conducted by highly skilled and competent pharmacists who use their vast knowledge of medicines to keep your Warfarin within range. Results are given within 5 minutes and if you are out of range our pharmacists can change your dose there and then.
Our dedicated pharmacists are on hand to carry out emergency tests before surgical and dental procedures or in the event of a medication change. We also offer a home visit facility for those who have great difficulty making it into the pharmacy for appointments.
Switching to our clinic couldn’t be easier, in fact, many GPs are recommending our services to their patients. All we need is a referral form to be signed by your GP or consultant and we can do the rest.
